Drush is a command line shell and Unix scripting interface for the Drupal CMS.
It uses static makefiles to build and assemble clean Drupal installations from the command line.
If you're a Drupal developer that enjoys using Drush, Drupid is a tool to keep an eye out.
Drupid works via Ruby and constantly checks for changes made to the Drush makefile and automatically updates a designated Drupal installation based on them.
This means developers can simply change various dependencies or Drupal core settings and automatically have them appear in their installation.
A lot more easier task than going around for minutes in the Drupal backend clicking left and right for a meager core update.
Besides this, Drupid can also be used to add new modules and libraries, test code integrity, build dependency graphs, move Drupal to a new folder, etc..
